Ultimate Frisbee Tournament Schedule

One of the best examples of teamwork and leadership I experienced was when I created and ran an all day Ultimate Frisbee tournament at Maccabi Sports Camp. I was responsible for planning the schedule, organizing teams, managing equipment, and making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. It took communication, preparation, and trust from everyone involved. Throughout the day I learned the importance of staying flexible, adapting to unexpected situations, and keeping the group’s energy positive. The tournament showed me that team culture is built through shared effort and a sense of connection. When everyone feels valued and part of the goal, the experience becomes something people remember.

Color War Score Sheet

During a three day Color War event at Maccabi Sports Camp, I took full responsibility for building the scoring system from scratch. No one had created a scoresheet before, so I designed one that tracked points across every event and ensured the competition stayed fair and organized. I decided how much each activity was worth, created the schedule, and coordinated with staff to keep the event running smoothly. Managing the scoring and logistics gave me a new appreciation for clear systems, attention to detail, and how structure can turn chaos into excitement. It was one of the first times I felt full ownership of a large-scale event and saw how planning and communication could bring an entire camp together.

Managed On Duty Schedule

I managed the on-duty schedule, ensuring every staff member had fair and balanced shifts throughout the session. This involved organizing coverage, communicating clearly with team members, and staying adaptable when last-minute changes came up. I made it a priority to keep the process transparent so everyone felt the schedule was fair and their time was respected. Managing the OD schedule taught me how much structure and communication contribute to team trust. It also strengthened my ability to balance logistics with people management keeping operations smooth while maintaining morale and accountability.
